| This is one of the greatest and most eclectic perfumes ever created. A spicy and shocking herbaceous top note that dries down into a delicate somewhat flowery powder that envelops you in a world of Mata Hari intrigue and sex appeal. Completely divine and no longer being made much to my absolute misery. It was too subtle and maverick for the general public I guess. |

| I wore this scent as a teenager back in the early 70's. It went out of production for years and when I found it again I was so excited. When I got the EDT I was stunned at how modern Jolie Madame smells. I had forgotten the scent of it and I fell in love with it all over again. I read that the classics are making a comeback and Jolie Madame is an excellent example of the timelessness of a great perfume. |

The scent if of gardenia my very favorite flower (although according to 1 web site it is of tuberose). This scent is better than any I have tried in the last 19 years. The only thing I don't like about it is the name. I wish it had a more beautiful exotic romantic name than the boring prosaic name of a man. |

| How to describe this? I first met "Light Blue" on my ex-college girlfriend who I hadn't seen in years. The smell which was light when we met and stayed with me until the next day. Finally we got together for a night recently and the smell which was mild at first became even more intense after a few hours together. Most fragrences fade or become stale after such a night but the lingering scent was as beatiful as she was the next morning. This is a perfume of class no mattter what it gets put through. When I came home the next day one of my wife's first comments was how good I smelled. Trully a compliment. Her birthday is this week so I bought her a large bottle. So who smells like whom now? |

I have been obsessively searching for a fragrance that is light citrus-like classic like Audrey Hepburn yet modern and sexy not overly sweet and cloying and finally not musky like a man's cologne. This is it. I even sampled some forty French and European perfumes believing that perhaps they had the edge on great scents but alas I pick up the latest Vogue and smell a sample from paper and Dolce and Gabbana's Light Blue is sublime. Even my husband said (without me asking) how good it smells and he's Mr. Natural-no stinky perfumes please. My only gripe is that the fragrance doesn't last long enough and I have to keep spraying myself. Otherwise I give it an overwhelming ten! |

| Pastel is a very relaxed fragrance. It is not sweet yet not faint. It is exactley in the middle. Wearing this would get a great response from others without the over-whealiming scent that other fragrances have. Could be worn as casual in the day and glamarous at night. It is just as the the name itself; Cool calm and as soft as "Pastel". What a wonderful fragrance. |
